We drove up Friday afternoon and spent the night at my sister's house. It had been almost NINE months since I last saw her and her family (my two nieces, Kara and Hayley, and my brother-in-law Eric). Scandalous, I know. How is it possible we live in the same state and go that long without seeing each other? I could have gotten pregnant and had a baby in that amount of time.
Saturday we met a long-time friend of mine, Ryan, and his family for lunch and then drove back to my sister's in time for Kara's soccer game. We spent the rest of Saturday with Pam's family and then got up bright and early Sunday to visit Billy's cousin, Ellie, and her husband and daughter, Riley (age 5). After that we headed to Fort Worth to visit my best friend from high school, Kendra, and her family (she has two little girls, 4 and 3, and Will loves them). After lunch with them, we made our way back to Austin.
Will spent all weekend in the company of the ladies. My two nieces, my friend Ryan's daughter (age 5), Ellie's daughter Riley and Kendra's girls Hannah and Gwen. He was in hog heaven. The kid loves the ladies, especially if they are slightly older. Note in the picture below that he is tightly holding Gwen's hand. He had a vice grip on her and was upset when she tried to let go (note his sightly forelorn face).
