A Quick Observation...

I am supposed to be working on an article that's due this week, but I needed a quick break and wanted to comment on something I've noticed lately. My son has just learned in the last month or so what a rooster is. He points them out in the books we read, and laughs when I imitate the "cock-a-doodle-do" noise they make. He also points them out any time we see an image of one in public. And this happens in more places than you'd think. Roosters are everywhere. They abound as a decorative item in people's homes, are used aplenty in restaurant wall decor, and I've even seen an image of one in a church bulletin. Will's little finger points them all out, so I've become aware of the plethora of roosters in every day life. Take a look around--you'll be amazed at how many red-headed fowl you'll see.
