Well, we made it to Illinois and are enjoying the cooler (although, rainy) weather. Unfortunately, Will is still sick and is NOT himself at all. He's cranky, has no appetite, and is tired (did I mention my normally great sleeper has been getting up every night coughing and then waking up at 5:00am to start the day? I feel like I have a newborn again). This mama is tired.
But I'm also grateful to be able to spend the holiday with Billy's family, and watch Will and Kiley (Billy's brother's daugher who is five months older than Will) play together (they arrive here this weekend). What a joy! We are very blessed indeed.
Hope all of you have a very merry Christmas with your loved ones, and that 2010 brings you great things!
