So I just put Will to bed and here I am blogging when I have one million things to do, like find my car keys (don't ask). But I figured it's been a while since my last post and well, let's just face it...I'm procrastinating.

This past weekend was Father's Day and we went to my parent's house on Saturday. That night we took Will to see a Round Rock Express game at the Dell Diamond--his first baseball game! We celebrated the occasion by eating hot dogs, buying a baseball cap and playing on the play scape (yeah, they have a play scape at the ball park--thank God because a two-year-old doesn't necessarily like to sit still for nine innings). Anyway, it was nice to celebrate the holiday with my dad and husband--two of the best dads in the world!

Work has been a little crazy lately. I've been getting more and more responsibility despite maintaining my 20-hour a week schedule. We'll see how I keep up. I found out I will be headed back to lovely Islandia, NY (on Long Island) to visit the company HQ for the entire week of July 5th (well, I'll probably be there Tuesday through Friday). That's a LONG time. I mean, I need to go to meet with people in person, but it's a long time to be away from home and I'll have to figure out who's going to watch Will on the days I would normally be home. Meh.

In better news, we are headed to Hilton Head, South Carolina next week for the entire week--beach vacation, here we come! Billy's parents celebrated their 40th anniversary this year and they wanted to get the whole family together, so they rented a beach house. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their two kids (Kiley, who is 5 months older than Will and baby Ally who was just born two months ago--can't wait to meet her!) are also coming, so it should be a fun, relaxing week. I've never been to that part of the country (and, apparently Savannah, GA is only 45 minutes away, so we may spend a day checking out that cool town, too).

Alright. Time to do dishes. And find the car keys. Hasta later.
